Albarrie Environmental Services manufactures nonwoven filtration fabrics, liquid filters, and particulate filter bags for all dust collection systems. We're also leading provider of dust collector baghouse services.
Albarrie Industrial Fabrics manufactures technical felts for a wide range of applications and industries, including high temperature and synthetic felts.
Albarrie GeoComposites manufactures, supplies and installs the revolutionary and highly successful SorbWeb™ Plus multi-layer secondary oil containment system.
For over 35 years, Albarrie has been producing technical felts for a wide range of industrial applications. Our textile processing expertise in conjunction with our “hands on” approach to industry applications is the foundation of our extensively engineered and diverse product offering.
Using advanced needlepunch technologies, Albarrie is capable of producing an array of needlepunch nonwoven textiles (i.e. felts) from various synthetic polymer fibers including:
Uses include: air filtration
Excellent tensile strength, excellent chemical resistance, extreme temperature resistance, melt temperature 1350°C. Typically used as a replacement for fiberglass.
Uses include: heat shields, FR materials, scrim material, epoxy substrate

During the needlepunch process, Albarrie can incorporate a woven (scrim) layer into the construction of the fabric to impart added physical properties that would otherwise be impossible to attain through needlepunching alone. These scrim reinforced fabrics typically have added tensile strength, enhanced puncture resistance and less stretch than their unsupported counterparts. Common applications for “supported” felts would include belting materials and filtration fabrics where there may be the potential for stretch, puncture or deformation of the fabric in use.
Using a unique spiral needlepunch process, Albarrie can produce seamless felt tubes in diameters ranging from 33mm to 127mm with wall thicknesses from 4mm to 10mm. Typically used as fitted covers for conveying rollers these seamless felt tubes can also be used for lubricating or absorbing excess fluids or cut into thin sections for use as gasket material.
Albarrie has in-house coating and finishing capabilities to produce truly unique fabric combinations to meet your specific application requirements.
Chemical Impregnation (water based)
A unique process of impregnating a soft felt with a thermoset resin to produce a rigid composite felt board with excellent flex strength and added abrasion resistance. Products: Defender™ Kevlar® & Nomex® Composite Felt Boards
Application of hot melt coatings to the surface of felt products for added abrasion resistance, anti-slip, puncture resistance and more…
Wide width coating capabilities up to 4.5m.
Lamination of films and membranes to felt fabrics to provide a barrier for liquid and gases or to achieve specific surface properties. Example: lamination of PTFE membranes to filtration felts for defined air permeability and enhanced cake solids release.
Albarrie offers a variety of mechanical processes for altering the physical properties of rolled goods including thickness, density, surface texture, permeability, and more.
Albarrie can provide a variety of in-house converting services including:
