Albarrie Environmental Services manufactures nonwoven filtration fabrics, liquid filters, and particulate filter bags for all dust collection systems. We're also leading provider of dust collector baghouse services.
Albarrie Industrial Fabrics manufactures technical felts for a wide range of applications and industries, including high temperature and synthetic felts.
Albarrie GeoComposites manufactures, supplies and installs the revolutionary and highly successful SorbWeb™ Plus multi-layer secondary oil containment system.
Albarrie Environmental Services does more than fabricate the highest quality filter bags. We actually design and manufacture many of the fabrics that are used in the production of those bags.
We’ve spent the past 35 years researching, developing and testing the most optimal fabrics for the many diverse applications and industries that require a dust collection system. Our expertise, combined with stringent quality assurance procedures, tight standards and precise controls on all the fabrics and fabric bags we produce, has made us a world leader in filtration system development and manufacture.

Albarrie has developed a multi-layered filtration fabric which combines a top layer of the P-84™ polyimide fiber with a bottom layer of conventional filtration fibers. Albarrie’s Tandem™ Composites possess the filtration properties of fabrics made from 100% P-84™ polyimide; however, they are combined with less expensive polymers to offer exceptional filtration capabilities at a significantly lower price.
Highly versatile and efficient, Tandem™ Composites uses include, but are not limited to: industrial coal fired boilers, mineral processing, asphalt plants, cement production, soil remediation, waste incineration, and power cogeneration.
Dear Albarrie,
“As you know, a few years ago, our plant installed a plenum dust collector in our eastern US cement plant location. During the following three years we experimented with a variety of polyester filter bags, each with a different surface, treatment, or coating, but all with essentially the same result: average life span was 6 months and in no instance exceeded 9 months. Time after time, without exception, each set of trial bags plugged prematurely, creating high pressure differential, reduced air flow and, consequently, a precipitous drop in production.
After years of struggle, we agreed to test a set of Albarrie’s Tandem Polyester Composite bags. Today, nearly three and one half years later, that same set is still in service, providing the customer with improved production, reduced power consumption, all while maintaining 5”-6” pressure drop with no emissions. The resultant annual saving to our operations can be summed up as follows:
Total Annual Saving: $78,000.00
Clearly, our initial investment in Albarrie’s Tandem Polyester filter bags was paid back within six months and, more importantly, we have gleaned an additional savings of over $200,000.00 during the subsequent three years of production.
Operationally, we would be remiss not to mention that the Albarrie composite bags have withstood an impressive amount of abuse, including two major upsets during which moisture entered the collector and totally encrusted the cake on almost every bag. In both instances, airflow was reduced to near zero with a corresponding drop in production. Your bags were subsequently removed, cleaned with counter feeding brushes, returned to service and once again continued to perform well at 5”-6” pressure drop. Obviously, standard polyester bags would have blinded under the same upset conditions, so an additional two complete bag change-outs were avoided.
Albarrie, maintenance and purchasing people are not generally known for heaping lavish praise on their suppliers, but our experience with Albarrie compels us to make an exception. In a nutshell, the consistently high value of both your products and service has given us every reason to continue to rely upon Albarrie for virtually all of our filter media needs.”
